Contract Conditions
You hereby certify that you are at least 18 years of age, and that you are renting the Medela Symphony® Plus Breast Pump(s) shown on the checkout page from Breast Pump Rentals LLC. You also certify that you are the account holder of the debit or credit card used for the rental transaction shown on the order or that you are an authorized user who has been given permission by the account holder to use the card. Your completion of the rental transaction constitutes your acceptance of these terms.
Condition of Pumps
Medela Symphony Plus Breast Pumps rented from Breast Pump Rentals LLC are guaranteed to be correct according to your order, and in usable used or new condition. Breast Pumps will be shipped at Breast Pump Rentals LLC’s discretion and depending upon supplier availability.
Shipping
Breast Pump Rentals LLC relies on the expertise of our shipping provider United Parcel Service to deliver your pumps to you on time. Rare problems such as weather delays, rural routes, or shipping carrier system delays could affect the timing of your delivery. Breast Pump Rentals LLC will work closely with any customer that does not receive their pump within the time frame selected. Standard shipping please allow up to 1-2 business days for processing and 3-5 business days for shipping. Expedited Shipping please allow 1 business day for processing and 3 business days for shipping. Orders received by 2 PM MST will go out same business day, orders received after this time will go out the next business day. We are unable to ship to PO Boxes, Military Addresses, AK, PR, HI, VI or outside the United States. We do not process orders on weekends or holidays.
Ownership
Medela Symphony Plus Breast Pump(s) rented from Breast Pump Rentals LLC are the property of Medela LLC. At no time during the rental period does the renter obtain ownership of the Breast Pump.
Communication
Breast Pump Rentals LLC will send you notifications and order receipts to the email address(es) you have provided. Breast Pump Rentals LLC may send you return notifications via email as a courtesy, but Breast Pump Rentals LLC is not responsible to notify you in any way of the return due date. You are solely responsible for returning the Medela Symphony Plus Breast Pump(s) by the due date whether or not you receive a reminder notification from Breast Pump Rentals LLC.
You authorize Breast Pump Rentals LLC and/- or Medela to send you emails and/or SMS text messages that include information about discounts, deals, products and services. You may unsubscribe from these communications at any time. Breast Pump Rentals LLC may use information about you, including personal information and the information you provide for your rental transaction and/or online account creation to: (1) allow you to participate in features offered or to provide related customer service, such as responding to your questions, complaints or comments; (2) customize content recommendations and offers displayed to you; (3) process a transaction you initiate; (4) provide you with information, products or services; (5) send you special offers from Breast Pump Rentals LLC, its advertisers, or its third-party business partners; (6) process your registration for rental services, including verifying your e-mail address is active and valid; (7) improve the services and for internal business purposes; (8) contact you with regard to any use of the services and, in its discretion, make changes to policies; (9) Share your information with Medela LLC for purposes of collection; (10) for purposes disclosed at the time you provide your information or otherwise give your consent. Breast Pump Rentals LLC will not ask you for any personal information, account username, and password, or any of your credit or debit card information via email or text message, and you will not provide such information via email or text message. Breast Pump Rentals LLC will have no responsibility for any misuse of such information if you provide such information via email or text message.
Agreement to Return Medela Symphony Plus Breast Pump(s)
You agree to return rented Medela Symphony Plus Breast Pump(s) in a suitable box to Breast Pump Rentals LLC distribution center, located in Lehi, UT, by logging into your account and printing a prepaid shipping label on or before the last day of your rental period. Medela Symphony Plus Breast Pump(s) that are not returned to the Lehi, UT warehouse will not be cleared from your account and you will continue to be responsible to pay rent until the Breast Pump is returned to our distribution center in Lehi, UT. Please make sure you are using the Breast Pump Rentals LLC prepaid UPS shipping label to return all Breast Pump(s). They are provided free of charge and provide both us and you definitive tracking of your Breast Pump(s).
Pay as you Go
This option requires a guaranteed two-month rental term. Your card will be charged $109+tax at initial checkout, and another $109+tax 31 days later. At the end of the two months, extending your rental another month is as easy as keeping the pump. On your due date your card will be automatically charged $99+tax, and you will have a new due date in 31 days. To end your rental, on your due date, return your pump using your prepaid return label found in the Rental History tab of your Medela Community Account. Simply print it off and attach it to the pump case or box and drop off at any UPS location. No partial month refunds.
Medela Symphony Plus Breast Pump(s) not Returned on Time
We will do our best to make returning your Medela Symphony Plus Breast Pump(s) simple and easy. As stated above, we even provide a prepaid shipping label you can print from your account. If however, Medela Symphony Plus Breast Pump(s) are not returned at the end of the rental period, as specified in the rental agreement, one of two things will occur 1) you will be notified via email that your card will be charged for a 1 month rental extension of their Medela Symphony Plus Breast Pump(s). If the Breast Pump(s) is not returned by the end of the 1 month extension. We will share your information with Medela LLC for it to pursue charges and collection of its property. 2) Your information will be sent directly to Medela LLC and at its sole discretion, Medela will pursue collections efforts including recovering its Breast Pump or the value of the Breast Pump(s). You hereby authorize Breast Pump Rentals LLC or Medela LLC to charge your debit or credit card in the event of late or unreturned Medela Symphony Plus Breast Pump(s) for rent using the 31 day extension rate set forth herein for each month that you fail to return the Breast Pump and/or for the fair market value of the Symphony Plus Breast Pump. We work very hard to resolve every return discrepancy. After all, our wish is to keep you as a happy customer and continue to rent Breast Pump(s) to you throughout your pregnancies. The fair market value of the Medela Symphony Plus Breast Pump(s) is determined to be the value of the breast pump at the time it was initially rented; not the value at the time the card is charged.
Maintenance and Care of Medela Symphony Plus Breast Pump(s)
You, the renter, agree to keep Medela Symphony Plus Breast Pump(s) in good, usable condition. Upon your receipt of the Breast Pump until you return the Breast Pump to Breast Pump Rentals LLC, you are responsible for keeping the pump in good working condition and to use only as directed by the instructions. In the event that the pump has been damaged by you due to abuse, misuse or alterations, you give authorization for Medela LLC to charge you the full fair market value of the pump.
Right to Cancel Orders
Breast Pump Rentals LLC retains the right to cancel or refuse any order that results from an error in pricing due to typographical errors, miscommunication with our partners, or any other incorrect information.
Refund and Return Policy
You may cancel any order for full refund if it has not shipped. For assistance online at: https://www.medela.us/breastfeeding/services/customer-service or by phone: 866-220-4456.
Breast Pump Kit
- If your breast pump kit has shipped, do not send it back, no refund will be issued. Regardless if it is returned in its original packaging. We strive to provide moms with the highest confidence of quality and safety. Moms can be assured that under no circumstance will they receive a kit that has been shipped to someone else.
Breast Pumps
- If a pump is returned within 14 days of original rental date, meaning it must be in Breast Pump Rentals’ possession; The refund will be the full pump rental amount less a $25 restocking fee. No refunds are issued on outgoing shipping or the breast pump kit.

If you wish to return your pump and are outside the 14-day window the pump rental refund policy is as follows:
- If your original rental was for 1 month, no refund will be issued.
- If you selected our Pay as you Go option; No partial refund will be issued if you return the pump outside the 14-day window. Pay as you Go is a guaranteed two-month term.

If you chose a 3- or 6-month option:
- No partial month refunds will be issued.
- Refund will equal monthly fee for any remaining full months at extension rate.

This Refund and Return Policy does not apply if the Breast Pump has been damaged by you due to abuse, misuse or alteration.
Liability
Breast Pump Rentals LLC shall not be held liable for any damages incurred, physical or emotional, tangible or intangible, for use of this rental.
Rental Periods
We have structured our rental periods to fit the needs of a new mom. Each rental period is discussed in detail below.
- 1 Month Rental (31 days)
- 3 Month Rental (90 days)
- 6 Month Rental (180 days)
- Extensions (31 days)
Extensions
We offer extensions in the following time frames 1 month, 3 month, and 6 month. The cost to extend your rental is $99 per month. If you find yourself needing to keep your breast pump just a bit longer. Extending your rental period is easy. Simply access your account, choose the amount of time to extend, and checkout. Your account will be updated to show the new rental period.
Collections
You agree that you will not cancel or exceed the purchasing limits of the credit or debit card you provided until the rented Medela Symphony Plus Breast Pump(s) is either returned to Breast Pump Rentals LLC or the non-return fees are paid. If the credit or debit card is declined, your account will be suspended and sent to Medela LLC for collection purposes. You authorize them to pass your information to any Third Party Collection Agency. You will be responsible for paying all reasonable fees, costs or collection fees assessed by Medela LLC or the Third Party Collection Agency.
Breast Pump Rentals LLC will make reasonable efforts to process transactions in a timely manner. You agree not to hold Breast Pump Rentals LLC responsible in the event Breast Pump Rentals LLC does not credit or debit your credit or debit card for a period of time due to circumstances beyond its control. Breast Pump Rentals LLC makes no guarantees regarding the processing time for charges.
In order for Breast Pump Rentals LLC to service your account or to collect any amount you may owe, you agree, unless otherwise prohibited by applicable law, that Breast Pump Rentals LLC, Medela LLC or a designated Third Party Collection Agency are authorized to (i) contact you by telephone at the telephone number(s) in the patron contact account information you are providing, including wireless telephone numbers, which could result in charges to you, (ii) contact you by sending text messages (message and data rates may apply) or emails, using any email address you provide and/or (iii) contact you using pre-recorded/artificial voice messages and/or use of an automatic dialing device, as applicable. You acknowledge that you have read this disclosure and agree that the Third Party Collection Agency may contact you as described above.
Except as otherwise provided herein, Breast Pump Rentals LLC agrees to keep all your personal and payment information confidential in accordance with our privacy policy.
Breast Pump Rentals LLC, may assign this agreement to a parent or affiliate company at its sole discretion.
BREAST PUMP RENTALS LLC WARRANTS TO REPAIR OR REPLACE ANY EQUIPMENT WHICH IS OR BECOMES DEFECTIVE UNDER NORMAL USE. BREAST PUMP RENTALS LLC AND MEDELA LLC WILL NOT BE LIABLE FOR INCIDENTAL, PUNITIVE, CONSEQUENTIAL OR ANY OTHER DAMAGES RESULTING FROM DEFECTIVE EQUIPMENT; THEIR LIABILITY IS LIMITED TO REPAIR OR REPLACEMENT OF THE EQUIPMENT. THIS WARRANTY IS GIVEN IN LIEU OF ALL OTHER WARRANTIES EXPRESSED OR IMPLIED.
